Welcome to Lodgingwithall

Forest Grove, Oregon, romantic hotels use romance and fantasy to create memorable experiences for guests. Often located in spectacular settings, they feature luxurious lobbies, gracious guest rooms, grand ballrooms, elegant bars, and sumptuous dining rooms. People seek them out because they offer unique and memorable experiences.

Forest Grove, Oregon, romantic hotels evoke images associated with the classic qualities of romance: heroism, adventure, and mystery – for the anticipation of finding love, sealing a lucrative business deal, or attending a grand social event or a great conference. Hotel spaces are designed in scale and character for both grand and intimate gatherings, conversation and celebration. Guests like to feel that they have traveled to a faraway or more exotic, rustic, or elegant place than they really have.

Romance is often associated with nature, particularly light and water in their various manifestations, including sunrise and sunset, candlelight, firelight and moonlight, the ocean, forests and meadows. A meadow can be evoked through soft textures and materials that facilitate serenity and airiness, such as a grassy courtyard. The right type of carpet, particularly one with a curved edge, can be used in a romantic hotel lobby to create the soft feel of a meadow.

A Forest Grove, Oregon, romantic hotel can use a lighted pond or fountain to create a water feature in a courtyard or lobby. At one romantic hotel, a grotto-like fountain splashes under the grand stair that takes guests up from the street-level lobby. Moving light from under the water in in the fountain pool plays on the walls and the lobby's vaulted ceiling. Water also can be evoked through materials with sheen or reflectivity, such as polished stone, metal, or mirrors.

Resolved Question: Is this another of the "people just coming here to work for their family" examples?

And why would they let him go? excerpt... Perhaps the most grotesque and gruesome crime is the rape and murder of a nun by yet another migrant worker from South America. It is amazing that this story received so little attention when imaginary crimes against illegal immigrants are portrayed on television shows in order to gain sympathy for these criminals (i.e. a T.V. show airing an episode where a Minutemen volunteer hurts an illegal immigrant). Thirty three year old Maximiliano Esparza raped and sodomized two nuns and used their rosary beads to control them during the attack. The Sisters were beaten, raped, sodomized, and finally, Esparza used her own rosary beads to strangle Sister Helen Lynn Chaska to death. Esparza had needed lodging and checked into the Klamath Falls Gospel Mission in Oregon. This Spanish speaking migrant had spent his evening getting drunk at a local strip club and encountered the nuns as they were walking and saying prayers. Of note, Esparza had a history of criminal behavior and had served a three year sentence in a California prison. He had been deported one time, and shockingly, U.S. Border Patrol let him go after detaining him a few months prior to the rape/murder. It doesn't get more vile and disgusting than this. http://www.drdsk.com/articles.html#ImportingViolence

Resolved Question: Budget SNOW wedding in Oregon?

I'm planning my first (and hopefully my ONLY) wedding - and my groom and I have a very small budget. We've always planned on having a wedding in the snow - which seems possible because we live in Oregon - and are planning to wed in February of 2011. Does anyone know of any AMAZING venues - the more rustic, the snowier, the better! *for example, we're looking at the Silcox hut at the Timberline lodge, to see if we can afford that.

Resolved Question: Looking for a hotel/cabin on the Oregon Coast?

I stayed in a cabin-type lodging about 15 years ago (when I was very young) with my family in Seaside, Oregon. The only thing I remember is that we stayed in these kind of cheesy cabins on the shore and the sign for the lodgings had a big, happy Starfish. It isn't the Starfish Manor in Lincoln City or the Starfish Point in Newport. I would like to go back to Seaside and stay there again because it is one of my best memories as a little girl. I remember it being very close to the beach. Sorry if there was any confusion but I'm not looking for a hotel to stay at- I'm trying to find a specific one I have stayed at before.

Resolved Question: Know of any cabins close to Grant's Pass in Southern Oregon?

I'm trying to plan a guy's weekend (6-8 of us) in Southern Oregon, close to Grant's Pass. None of us have ever been there, and we'd like to be get an appreciation of the natural beauty of the area while we're visiting. We were looking to hike, go caving, and climb. Are there any cabins, lodges, resorts or suggestions for central areas to look for a rental? Is Siskiyou National Forest more beautiful than Rogue River, Wimena, or other National Forests around there? How do the National Forests there compare?

Resolved Question: I NEED $2000.00 to see my father who is suffering through a HEART Condition, Can Anyone Help?

My father is hinting around about his heart problems, he is also gathering his things in order and believes he will not live long. I am his only disabled daughter, I receive $632.00 a month to take care of some bills and my 15 year old son. I need to get to my Dad's in Oregon IL sometime soon. The money will cover air, cheap lodging, food for my father and us, and $200.00 in fees my bank has on my account, putting it at -$200.00. If I pay this, I can use my debit Visa card for anything else my father or we may need. I am not renting a car, I can arrange for someone to pick us up. People tell me all the time, you just have to ask. And I am more the cynical kind, that believes most people don't give a damn. But in posting this, I am taking the chance that my friends are right and I am wrong. I hope there is someone out there that can help with something, if not all of what we need.
