Open Question: I want to help a friend while also making a little extra money. Here is some backround. He is a well quallifie?

want to help a friend while also making a little extra money. Here is some backround. He is a well quallified but relatively new oral surgeon from Bulgaria, who wants to increase his practise in the U.S.. He.has a license to practice in New York, New Jersey, Greece and Bulgaria. I live in Oklahoma and found out about him on a website advertising medical tourism. I traveled to New York to have some dental impants placed. After having the work done I had a friend who is a dentist, but does not do implants, check out the dental work done for me and he said it was excellent work using the best materials. He said that.my Oral Surgeon did it at about half the price of any other Oral Surgeon in the country. Now that wouldn't be the case for every patient. Because I was disabled he did the work at Bulgarian prices. The Oral Surgeon wanted me to let all my friends about him and I WANTED to be able to tell as many people as I can. We came up with an idea to where If I could get him some business he would give me a "finder's fee". I have thought of running a classified ad to start (It is the cheapest way) in a local Oklahoma Newspaper. If that works out I would move on to a bigger ad. (That is part of the question- Should I start out in the Classifieds?). I've done construction work all my life and do not know much about advertising. I would like an advertising expert to tell me what kind of ad I should try and under what category of the classifieds I should run it. Of course I would want something that lets people know that he would be able to do Dental Work in different places at different prices. Maybe an ad saying something about Medical Tourism at a great savings in cost. Even if one has to travel. I don't know exactly the percentage of savings in each location would be but I will soon. I do know that for sure one could pay for airfare and lodging from the savings from the actual dental work. Of course the cost would depend on what the person getting the work done wanted to do.It would also depend on where they wanted to get it done. I went to New York for ONLY the reason of getting the dental work done. I stayed in a cheap hotel and stayed just long enough to get the work done. We could probably put together a simple "Dental Tourism" package. Airfare lodging and Dental Work. Nothing elaborate. My question then is What should the content of a TASTEFUL short classified ad be that gets across that clients could get excellent and LEGAL dental work done at several locations at a significant savings to themselves? An ad that would, at the least, get a person to call for more details. Also, by tasteful, I mean something that come across as looking like "ambulance chasing".

We also wanted to do the tiffany blue/turquoise and chocolate brown, since its in a lodge. Our only problem with that is that the groom and his boys would have to wear brown tuxes?? I dont like that at all. Please let me know what you think?

Resolved Question: I do not understand air traffic controller pay scales. Please help explain.?

I'm considering going to the air traffic controller academy... but I'm having issues understanding the pay scales. 1. It says the base pay for being a recruit is 17k a year, NOT including locality pay. Later it says, "you're compensated $79.20 per day for food, lodging, etc". Is that $79.20 the locality pay for Oklahoma City, where the academy is? 2. The locality pay rates are listed as percentages. Percentages of what? 3. The general public pay for the academy is 17k... and then it says "Veterans Recruitment Appointment" and lists the pay as 33k. I'm an Iraqi war veteran who recently separated from active duty (no I wasn't an air traffic controller). What does that mean, and does it apply to me? Thanks in advance!

Resolved Question: Looking for anybody with knowlege of IOOF/Oddfellows?

I am working on my family tree and am completely stuck on my GG Grandfather. I know he was a Justice of the Peace and he owned a General Store in Claremore, Oklahoma. I know his name was William Jessie Dodson, he went by W.J. and was born around Nov of 1851. But My dad also said he was a member of Oddfellows. Does anybody know about them? Do they keep information in their Lodge of members from years back? Would they disclose any information to a relative? The information I'm looking for is basically Birth dates and place of Birth and or Spouse information. I've looked up census info but nothing comes from it. Any suggestions?!?

Voting Question: My fiance went out of his way to see a ex. He told her about us. Do I have reason to be upset.?

Ok. We have been together almost 3 years in those years he broke up with me once for about a month because an old girlfriend ( he once loved) had found him and they wanted to see if it was still there. According him it was wasn't he loved me. That was almost 10 months ago . This past weekend he drove to visit his family in Oklahoma he lives in Utah making a stop in new mexico where this woman lives. I asked him why he needed to go that way. He said the lodging was cheaper ( stayed on military base) . Well I found out he either had dinner with this woman or talked with her. He told her about us, but it bothers me he couldn't tell me he met her and lied when I asked nicely if he had spoke or seen her. To me its all about respect. Do i have a right to be upset.
