Welcome to Lodgingwithall

Fernley, Nevada, romantic hotels use romance and fantasy to create memorable experiences for guests. Often located in spectacular settings, they feature luxurious lobbies, gracious guest rooms, grand ballrooms, elegant bars, and sumptuous dining rooms. People seek them out because they offer unique and memorable experiences.

Fernley, Nevada, romantic hotels evoke images associated with the classic qualities of romance: heroism, adventure, and mystery for the anticipation of finding love, sealing a lucrative business deal, or attending a grand social event or a great conference. Hotel spaces are designed in scale and character for both grand and intimate gatherings, conversation and celebration. Guests like to feel that they have traveled to a faraway or more exotic, rustic, or elegant place than they really have.

Romance is often associated with nature, particularly light and water in their various manifestations, including sunrise and sunset, candlelight, firelight and moonlight, the ocean, forests and meadows. A meadow can be evoked through soft textures and materials that facilitate serenity and airiness, such as a grassy courtyard. The right type of carpet, particularly one with a curved edge, can be used in a romantic hotel lobby to create the soft feel of a meadow.

A Fernley, Nevada, romantic hotel can use a lighted pond or fountain to create a water feature in a courtyard or lobby. At one romantic hotel, a grotto-like fountain splashes under the grand stair that takes guests up from the street-level lobby. Moving light from under the water in in the fountain pool plays on the walls and the lobby's vaulted ceiling. Water also can be evoked through materials with sheen or reflectivity, such as polished stone, metal, or mirrors.

Resolved Question: Will 2 weeks be long enough for my road trip?

I'm planning a road trip across the US in June, and I need to know if 2 weeks is long enough for all of our destinations. I'll list our destinations in order... Leaving from: Connecticut 1. Baltimore, Maryland 2. New Orleans, Louisiana 3. Arizona (Grand Canyon) 4. Las Vegas, Nevada End: Huntington Beach, California and then of course, drive back. We mapped it out and it's approximately 3,500 miles there and the same coming back. There will be 4 of us, and 3 of us will be driving, and we don't plan to stay very long in any one place. Probably no more than one day at each destination, and bring camping supplies to avoid lodging costs. Can we get it done in 2 - 2 1/2 weeks? If not, how long would you recommend? Thanks! p.s. If you have any kind of input, I would be glad to take suggestions!

Resolved Question: What is your opinion about Warrants served at home, office of Latino civil rights leader?

Police on Wednesday served warrants on nine felony counts "related to theft and burglary charges" at the office and home of Rene Orozco, the Nevada director of the League of United Latin American Citizens, a Metro news release said. Metro said it identified several people who allege Orozco accepted money from them to assist with “citizenship and criminal defense issues” and then failed to deliver any assistance. The majority of those who lodged complaints are undocumented or are facing other citizenship issues, police said. LULAC, with local offices in the 700 block of North Nellis Boulevard, is a national organization advocating Latino civil rights and opportunities in the Latin community. Police said the investigation is ongoing. Metro did not release additional details. Orozco could not immediately be reached for comment. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/mar/03/warrants-served-home-office-latino-civil-rights-le/

Resolved Question: Questions about Lake Tahoe, Nevada?

Okay- I am planning a honeymoon for early December 2009- will it be snowing then? I found a hotel called Avalon Lodge- has anyone ever stayed there? It looks nice online but you never know? I am wondering if it is "Honeymoon Material"??? I'm also trying to find out if you have to put chains on your tires at that time of year- I'm from the DEEP South and am clueless when it comes to snow/ice/etc? Are there lots of places to rent things like snowboards, outerwear, goggles, etc? or do you have to buy most of it? Any recommendations for romantic dinner spots on the nevada side?? Any other info would be great- ooh yea- we're in recovery so we'd prefer not to stay in the casinos and such- no drinking or partying for this couple.... THANKS SO MUCH!!

Resolved Question: What should I do for my wedding theme?

Ok me and my fiance are getting married in the Mountians of Nevada at a lodge/hotel on December 1st 2009. I have been putting off deciding on the theme and I know my poor planner is getting mad. But I just cant make up my mind. We live on the east coast and my favorite place in the world is Maine with all of the wonderful lighthouses and fishing boats. We spend every summer up there. So of course a natical theme was brought up. My other favorite thing is Chrsitmas. I love the whole feeling of the season. Its so wonderful and where we are getting married there will be snow. So my planner said maybe a winter wonderland theme. Both go with the dress I picked out which is white with a blue strip at the bodice and bottom. I just cant make up my mind between two things I love so much. What do you guys think? I never have done christmas in the red and green I always liked the blue, silver and white better. Those have been our colors from the start.

Resolved Question: Why is this Ron Paul senior aide & Bob Barr aide pleading for Libertarians to vote McCain/Palin?

FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE, SOCIALLY TOLERANT, PRO-DEFENSE! November 2, 2008 I have been a lifetime Libertarian Party activist, for over 25 years. I’ve served in numerous capacities, including on the Libertarian National Committee, as a Libertarian State Rep. candidate, and as Ron Paul’s Personal Travel Aide in his 1988 Libertarian Presidential campaign. I’ve also served as Ron Paul’s Congressional Campaign Coordinator and as his Senior Congressional Aide for 7 years, 1997-2004. This election year, I’ve been supporting Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr. As a matter of fact, I’m the very guy who recruited his running mate Wayne Root into the race. Since the Spring, I’ve been the Party’s lead petitioner around the Nation. I’ve collected tens of thousands of signatures to get Barr/Root on the ballot in Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine and Rhode Island. However, I was greatly encouraged by McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin for his VP. Palin has a solid libertarian background. In 2005/06 she was the guest speaker at two Libertarian Party meetings in Anchorage. She Up until now, I’ve encouraged my fellow Libertarians to follow their conscience and vote for either McCain/Palin or for Barr/Root, if it suits them better. I now believe, two days before Election Day, that this campaign is just too critical to risk on such a strategy, and if Libertarians won’t put the liberty of our country ahead of our party ambitions, who else in this country will? Obama is fundamentally opposed to virtually all libertarian stances on all issues. From taxes, to freedom of speech, to protecting property rights, to putting a halt to the ever-encroaching Nanny-state, and 4 years of an Obama Presidency will have disastrous results for liberty, and supporters of the limited government view. As evidence of this, Obama has taken to lodge a full frontal assault on the libertarian movement within the last couple days. In two separate speeches Obama accused McCain/Palin of supporting tax cuts because they believed in the “Virtue of Selfishness." ABC News confirmed that the phrase was most likely a direct hit at libertarian icon Philosopher Ayn Rand. By attacking Individualist philosophy, in essence, Obama has declared war on libertarians and the libertarian movement in these closing days of Election ‘08. How should libertarians respond? It is now my strong feeling that libertarians nationwide, and most assuredly my fellow Libertarian Party members, should strongly consider casting their votes for Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin. The libertarian movement would be best served with an Obama defeat. Bob Barr has been polling around 1 to 1.5% in recent polls. A Research 2000/Daily Kos poll released just Friday, had Barr at a full 2%. That is more than enough to cause McCain/Palin to go down to defeat. As we all know, a good 90% of Libertarian votes come directly out of the GOP column. I urge my Libertarian friends, especially those in “swing states” to shift these final days to McCain/Palin. Those States that are especially critical include: New Hampshire, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada. McCain/Palin lead Obama/Biden in the latest poll out of Wyoming with 68% to 32%. A Libertarian vote cast for Barr/Root in Wyoming, or even Utah, Idaho, Alabama, Kansas, and my native Texas, would not cause any harm. But Libertarians in the critical swing states must now weigh their vote very seriously and with great caution. Do we want a guarantee of tax increases for virtually all taxpayers, more federalization of education, more pork barrel spending, and continuation of affirmative action quotas, a return of the so-called Fairness Doctrine intended to silence the voice of libertarians and conservatives across the nation? Or, do we want a friendly ear in a confirmed Libertarian Party friend and ally in the office of the Vice-Presidency of the United States. For these reasons, I am voting for McCain/Palin on Tuesday and I urge all of my Libertarian friends to do the same. Our party has made great gains and that is important. Nobody in the libertarian movement has worked harder than I have to assure those gains. But at this moment in history, we must stand with our conservative friends, against a massive affront upon liberty and freedom itself. I call upon all freedom loving libertarians to consider this situation carefully and stand with me! Eric Dondero LIBERTARIANS FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE, SOCIALLY TOLERANT, PRO-DEFENSE!
