Welcome to Lodgingwithall

Savage is one of the top tourist destinations of Minnesota. It is a city full of history and at the same time enjoys a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. The old town has some of the finest historical architecture, in contrast with the gleaming modern structures in the new town.

You can get there by flying on a Minnesota Airline which offer budget flights daily to a nearby airport. Alternatively you can take a train or Greyhound bus from a number of other destinations.

You can stay in one of Savage's many elegant resort hotels, or for the budget traveler, the city offers a number of inns and motels. If you are staying longer, you might consider renting a holiday condo or apartment.

When you are in Savage you can simply enjoy the sun, or there are a number of other opportunities for sightseeing - a visit to the city's museums and galleries is always worthwhile. Alternatively you could explore the narrow streets of the old town on foot, shopping for souvenirs in the many charming designer boutiques. On Sundays the central park is always full of young people who meet for picnics under the shady trees. For the more active, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis. Those who enjoy water-sports can go fishing or swimming. You will probably want to hire a yacht or motor cruiser for the day to reach the best locations.

Getting around Savage couldn't be more easy. The city is well served by taxicabs and a modern bus network. If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Minnesota countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.

Savage comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.

Whatever your interest, Savage, Minnesota, has something unique to offer.

Resolved Question: this happened to me, what would u do?

i asked this questions before but i didn't get any good answers, so here it is again: ur 11-years old and kayaking with ur (11-year-old) cousin and for some dumb reason, u stand up and fall in the lake. ur 83 miles from Canada (in Minnesota) and the lake is freezing even though it's July. and, of course, ur really far out in the lake and u can barely see ur lodge because your glasses slipped off ur nose and their already making their way to the bottom of the lake (which is quite far). oh and also, u don't know this but there are fish with very big and sharp teeth swimming around in the lake. oh and it's impossible to get back in a kayake after falling out!!!! so what do u do?? this happened to me. but i'm not going to say how it all ended, i will tell what happened when i pick a best answer. the best answer has to be closest to what actually happened. HAVE FUN AND DON'T BECOME DEPRESSED BECAUSE THERE IS A WAY OUT OF THIS!!!!!!!!!! LOL! ps whenever i think about this, i get really freaked out because i remember ever tiny detail and so i can just be right there again. and its' really scary!!!!!

Resolved Question: How much money for this vacation?

I would have free lodging the entire vacation. I would possibly be driving with some friends from Minnesota to New Jersey to stay with a good friend for a week (20hrs) sometime in September. I have about $1k in my bank account right now but I have no income currently. I will have an income by the time I went on the trip. Plane tickets are also pretty cheap also which we are considering. Anyway, we would probably spend a few days in NYC, Atlantic City, and Seaside Heights. How much money would you say I would be comfortable with?

Resolved Question: How much should we spend on the wedding gift?

My husband and I are traveling from Texas to Minnesota for his brother's wedding. We will be spending quite a bit of money just getting to the wedding location and our lodging while there. Plane ticket for me - $300.00; gas for my husband to drive up and back - $100.00(?); tux rental for my husband (he's the best man) - $130.00; hotel room for two nights - $200.00; chipping in for food and alcohol at joint bachelor/bachelorette party - $30.00. What would be an appropriate amount to spend on a wedding gift for them? When my husband and I got married last year, his brother and fiancee spent around $50 on our gift and did not have the added expenses like we do of traveling.

Resolved Question: What do U think of this arrest Man, woman charged after hotel check turns up almost 300 stolen bras ?

While looking for drugs the Dakota County Drug Task Force and Airport Police Narcotics Unit found nearly 300 stolen bras instead at the Travel Lodge Hotel in Burnsville. Juan Malpartida, 33, and Mercedes Ortiz, 41, of Elizabeth, N.J., were arrested Jan. 30 during a routine drug check at the hotel. They were charged Feb. 2 in Dakota County District Court for allegedly stealing $4,000 in clothing from metro businesses. Both are in Dakota County Jail in Hastings. Bail has been set at $60,000 for Ortiz and $50,000 for Malpartida. They were charged with possession of stolen property and possession of shoplifted gear, both felonies. The couple faces immigration violations, also a felony. The maximum sentence, if convicted, is 10 years and $20,000 for possession of stolen property and three years and $3,000 for possession of shoplifted gear. Criminal complaints against Ortiz and Malpartida provided the following account and allegations: Ortiz and Malpartida's hotel registration came up as suspicious for officials who found them registered as being from Gainesville, Texas, and their room was paid for in cash. Officers knew from experience that Texas was a source state for narcotics getting to Minnesota and drug traffickers often paid in cash to stay at hotels. Canines checked the exterior of the couple's vehicle in the hotel parking lot and officers knocked on the room door receiving no answer. Plain-clothed officers waited until the couple returned to the hotel room and then asked to search the inside. Officers found multiple forms of identification for Ortiz and Malpartida including passports from Peru and a Puerto Rican driver's license with other names. Shopping bags lined with foil to evade store security were found along with tools to remove security tags. Agents then looked through the couple's van where the clothing and bras with tags attached were found. Both will appear in court Monday, March 2, in Hastings.

Resolved Question: Outdoor wedding locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota?

*I am looking for a place that I could have both the ceremony and reception, or two places that are VERY close to each other. *I definitely would like to have at least the ceremony outside, but if there is a nice lodge/restaurant that anyone knows about, I will check it out. *We are having around 100 guests, and don't want to spend more than $30 per person for food.. *I really need links and pictures. I would love to hear from people who have actually been to a wedding at these locations. (Great views and scenery is what we're looking for) Thanks!
