Welcome to Lodgingwithall

Plymouth is one of the top tourist destinations of Michigan. It is a city full of history and at the same time enjoys a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. The old town has some of the finest historical architecture, in contrast with the gleaming modern structures in the new town.

You can get there by flying on a Michigan Airline which offer budget flights daily to a nearby airport. Alternatively you can take a train or Greyhound bus from a number of other destinations.

You can stay in one of Plymouth's many elegant resort hotels, or for the budget traveler, the city offers a number of inns and motels. If you are staying longer, you might consider renting a holiday condo or apartment.

When you are in Plymouth you can simply enjoy the sun, or there are a number of other opportunities for sightseeing - a visit to the city's museums and galleries is always worthwhile. Alternatively you could explore the narrow streets of the old town on foot, shopping for souvenirs in the many charming designer boutiques. On Sundays the central park is always full of young people who meet for picnics under the shady trees. For the more active, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis. Those who enjoy water-sports can go fishing or swimming. You will probably want to hire a yacht or motor cruiser for the day to reach the best locations.

Getting around Plymouth couldn't be more easy. The city is well served by taxicabs and a modern bus network. If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Michigan countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.

Plymouth comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.

Whatever your interest, Plymouth, Michigan, has something unique to offer.

Resolved Question: What do U think people find illegal knocking on doors for someone who could help him call U.S to deport him.?

Juan R. Alvarado may receive a free trip to Central America courtesy of the United States. Alvarado, 32, left Honduras in his 20s to make a better life for himself and his parents by sending home his earnings, Saginaw County Sheriff’s Detective Mike Gomez said. He said Alvarado, with his elderly parents ill and thousands of miles away, hoped the police could help him return to them. Police detained Alvarado on Monday after a resident reported a non-English-speaking Hispanic male was knocking on doors at Waterside Apartments, 4070 Green Isle Way, north of McCarty and east of Barnard in Saginaw Township. Gomez said Alvarado, who lived in Saginaw Township, was trying to find someone who could help him call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement so that he would be deported. “I didn’t want money, I want someone to help me get to Honduras,” Gomez said Alvarado told him in Spanish. When police asked Alvarado for identification, he showed them an expired card issued in Honduras in 1997, said Saginaw Township Police Lt. Gary P. Grauf. “He was hoping the Saginaw Township police would have him deported,” said Gomez, who served as Alvarado’s translator. “He hasn’t been able to find work in a long time.” Alvarado was lodged in the Saginaw County Jail on immigration violation charges until Tuesday, Gomez said. That’s when U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials from Detroit picked him up, Grauf said. “We’re not a travel agency,” said Khaalid Walls, a customs spokesman. “He’ll begin removal proceedings, and if a judge decides he is here illegally, we’ll enforce his removal.” Walls said Alvarado could be jailed for months awaiting a determination. “He’s going to sit in their jail for weeks,” said Gomez, basing his estimate on previous dealings with the agency. “There’s no guarantee he’ll get back to Honduras anytime soon.” Gomez said the agency generally waits until it has detained enough illegal immigrants to deport at the same time to increase cost efficiency. Based on past experience, Gomez said the agency usually doesn’t pick up illegal immigrants unless they’ve done something wrong or broken laws unrelated to immigration. Alvarado made his way north, crossed the southern U.S. border and headed for the Great Plains states, Gomez said. “He was originally living in Colorado, working as a laborer, just taking what jobs he could find,” Gomez said. “He met a woman named Maria, who is originally from Mexico, and she convinced him to come to Saginaw, and he’s been here for two years.” Gomez didn’t know the status of Alvarado’s relationship with the woman. “There was nothing to keep him here, because he couldn’t find a job or make any money to send home to his family,” Gomez said. “He was just hoping they would let him take his things with him when he’s deported.” There were 11.6 million estimated illegal immigrants in the U.S. as of February 2008, the most recent data available through the U.S. Department of Immigration Statistics. Michigan had about 70,000 illegal immigrants at last count a decade ago http://www.mlive.com/news/saginaw/index.ssf/2010/02/honduran_man_knocks_on_doors_i.html For a matter of information why didn't he not report his wishes to the local police ?

Resolved Question: I'm thinking about moving to Australia, I've heard there's a sweet deal to go there?

I'm 19 and really have no ties in the US anymore. My mom lives across the country and my dad is about to move across the country as well. I live in the appalling state of Michigan where there are no jobs and everyone is miserable. I'm definitely moving. My boss told me that supposedly Australia has a ton of jobs and not enough workers to fill them, and that supposedly they are paying people from outside the country to come in, become citizens, and get jobs. Supposedly there is a program in which you come in get your citizenship, and they supply you with a job and lodging for about 6 months until you can find your own place. Is this true, and if so, how do I do this program? Thanks for all your help guys!!! Thanks guys, I know it sounded way too good with this recession and all, but I just thought I'd do a little research on it anyways :)

Resolved Question: Some people are so in need of help don't you think?

Can you top these horror story's? HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT THESE ARE ALL TRUE STORIES FROM EMERGENCY ROOMS AROUND THE COUNTRY --------------------------------------… FEMALE SOFA----- A 500 lb. woman from Illinois was examined in a hospital. During the examination, an asthma inhaler fell from under her armpit, a dime was found under one of her breasts and a remote control was found lodged between the folds of her vulva. eeewwwww..... --------------------------------------… PRICKLY PAIR-----OUCH! In Michigan, a man came into the ER with lacerations to his penis. He complained that his wife had "...a rat in her privates..."which bit him during sex (not the first conclusion I would have drawn, I don't think). After an examination of his wife, it was revealed that she had a surgical needle left inside her after a recent hysterectomy. --------------------------------------… PING PONG ANYONE? ----- A 20 year old man came into the ER with a stony mass in his rectum. He said that he and his boyfriend were fooling around with concrete mix, when his boyfriend had the idea of pouring the mix into his anus using a funnel. (you'd do the same, I'm sure!)?!!. The concrete then hardened, (no sh*t Sherlock!), causing constipation and pain. Under general anesthesia, a perfect concrete cast of the man's rectum was removed along with a ping pong ball. (Boy - we live sheltered lives!) --------------------------------------… BLIND DRUNK----- A drunk staggered into a Pennsylvania ER complaining of severe pain while trying to remove his contact lenses. He said that they would come out halfway, but they always popped back in. A nurse tried to help using a suction pump, but without success. Finally, a doctor examined him and discovered the man did not have his contact lenses in at all. He had been trying to rip out the membrane of his cornea. (Oh my gosh!!!) --------------------------------------… OUCH AND DOUBLE OUCH! ----- A couple hobbled into a Washington State emergency room covered in bloody restaurant towels. The man had his hands around his abdomen and the woman had hers around her head. They eventually explained to doctors that they had gone out that evening for a romantic dinner. Overcome with passion, the woman crept under the table to administer oral sex to the man (Classy or what??). While in the act, she had an epileptic fit, which caused her to clamp down on the man's penis and wrench it from side to side. In agony and desperation, the man grabbed a fork and stabbed her in the head until she let go. --------------------------------------… And you thought YOU were having a bad day!!!! I'm still laughing!!!! --------------------------------------…

i want to take my g.f. to p.r. in march or april to escape the dismal late winter of northern michigan.we are both very much into studying cultures so we would like to hang with the locals ,not tourist.we are also very much into nature, food, anthropological ruins, etc.we are kind people with a limited income(she is a social worker,i am a sculptor).we would like to split our time between cheap lodging and camping, however,we would need an outfitter.we're not normal but,we are not "hippies" showers and clean accommodations are crucial.

Resolved Question: Backpacking in the United States?

Ok so I'm planning a backpacking trip to the United States and I need suggestions on places that I can go to. I'm not considering the western coast for now. What I'm considering is Chicago, the area around Lake Michigan and Niagara Falls. Any other suggestions around these areas would be awesome! I'm more into nature instead of city life. Well, not totally against city life either; may be a 3 : 1 ratio of nature : city life. I'm planning for around 15 days in the 2nd week of October. Also, if anyone got any ideas, please advise me on cheap/economical lodging.
