Voting Question: Michigan Bride need someone to help, what do i do? PLEASE HELP ME (WITHOUT STUPID AND MEAN COMMENTS)?

Ok I am planning my wedding and defiantly need a wedding planner (more like a personal assistant for the wedding is that what a wedding planner does?). I am doing a lot of the wedding my self (decorations, planning everything, ext) but it is really hard because my entire side of the wedding is spread across the USA everywhere but Michigan (go figure). I am basically needing someone to make sure that I have as little stress a possible (I know it is going to be stressful before, I just don't want to stress on the day). I have everything written out in great detail (I have had the vision of my wedding for about 10 years) in a giant 3 inch thick notebook. I have been saving for my wedding even before I found my fiance. I am not having a huge $100,000 so far my budget is around $50,000 wedding (my whole family is pitching in to help with the cost) most of it is actually lodging and stuff for my side, which is over 70 people, cause they are all coming from out of town. I have my dress, the location, the fiance, invitations, and a few more things. I am handling making all the decoration with my friends (and my fiance's family who said they will help) but need someone to do the set up on the day (with plenty of help from my people). Also i need help hiring people like bartender, waitstaff, caterer (I am doing a half buffet and half sit down, and kid area attendants (both of our sides have a lot a kids (about 30 kids) coming so we actually have an area for the kids (the ages are from 5 months old to late teens) that have some entertainment so they will have a good time without getting bored. So I basically need help making my dream wedding to come true. My wedding isn't just about me and my fiance, it is about our family coming together (both of our families are really close, his family see each other all the time but my side is really close also but haven't been together for about 15 years so this is like a family reunion and wedding rolled up into one big day). I know this is just too much for me to take on does any one have any ideas or know who I need to make this happen? My wedding is actually just under 2 years away (that was the closest date we could do at the location we both wanted which too 4 months to find) but with so many details and things i need done i want to get a jump start so i am not doing everything last minute. Please help me. I don't need negative people telling me that it is so far away to start worrying, or i am spending to much money, or I sound like a bridezilla (yes I understand I am anal and this is a lot. I just want everyone to have a great time cause who knows when we will be together again). Only helpful comments please. Thank you so much for trying to make the happen. My wedding is in Detroit, Michigan and out doors with tents if that helps at all.

Resolved Question: Michigan hotel service fee (tax)?

Michigan special tax on lodging expired. Why do hotels and inns still add it to your bill. Do they just pocket it under the guise that it's still on the books?

Resolved Question: questions about xc season?

i got this email 2 days ago and here it is: Huskie Runners- I hope you are enjoying your summer break so far. My intent was to get this information out to you no later than last Friday however my wife went into labor last Thursday and our twin daughters were born on the next day. We have only been home since Monday night and it has been busy adjusting to being a family of four. In short I apologize for not getting this information out sooner. 1. Cross country conditioning (what we affectionately call Summer Running) officially starts Monday July 12th at 8 a.m. We will meet at West middle school's parking lot . XC conditioning is not mandatory but absolutely essential to be competitive by the fall and not get hurt in the process. Conditioning is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to roughly 10 am. (sometimes we get done a bit sooner, occasionally a bit later.) More details on a week by week basis. 2. Cross country team camp will be a bit later this year. XC camp will be from August 26th to August 29th. This year we will be going to Portage Lake Covenant Bible Camp in Onekama Michigan. In their off season, they rent out their incredible facilities to teams and school groups at a reduced cost. This year we will be there with the Cross country teams from Olivet college and Saranac High School. The cost for Camp including our lodging, food, rope course, canoe trip, and fuel is only $150. We encourage all of our team members who have the appropriate mileage to join us for this incredible experience of training and team bonding. 3. I am happy to announce that Joe Hartley will be joining our coaching staff this season as an assistant coach. Joe is a former Northern XC and track runner who has much running experience and also helped coach our distance team for Track & field this past spring. Coach Heather Schilacci will also be joining us again as well as cameo appearance from Coach Dave (who has recently mapped out the trail mileage for our favorite paths at Al Sabo preserve) and other alumni runners. 4. Start running on your own Now!!!!! Do not wait until July 12 to get into shape. A. If you are brand new to running Cross country, start over the next 3 weeks by running 3-4 times per week for 20-30 minutes each time. If it feels to easy...then go about five minutes longer. B. If you are a veteran runner then you need to be running more mileage than. Shoot for running five times per week. (Two longer runs and 2 shorter runs with the shorter runs being 3 to 4 miles in length. C. If you are returning varsity runners then you need to be looking for weekly mileage around 30 miles for guys and 20 miles for girls per week. If you haven't run for a while you will have to drop that mileage down a bit for the first couple of weeks, but at least be running for durations of 20 to 30 minutes. We must build some endurance. i dont quite get it, like for the camp, what would appropriate mileage be cause i was running 3+ miles when i did track and i was like one of the best distance runners. seccond what would i be a veteran runner or beginner cause i was one of the best distance runners on the track team this season but since the season ended on 5-20, i have not ran since and now im in china and i ran for like 20 min yesterday but got cut short cause it was raining and it felt pretty hard. i mean i can usually run 3+ miles easily and the 20 min of running felt hard but i think it was aat a pretty fast pace. i also cant arrive at the summer training cause i am stuck in china till july 18 or 23 so i dont know how much they run and how hard they run and stuff. could you guys help with a schedule i could follow. i plan on running tomorrow morning. HELP!! thank you very much!!!

Resolved Question: What do U think people find illegal knocking on doors for someone who could help him call U.S to deport him.?

Juan R. Alvarado may receive a free trip to Central America courtesy of the United States. Alvarado, 32, left Honduras in his 20s to make a better life for himself and his parents by sending home his earnings, Saginaw County Sheriff’s Detective Mike Gomez said. He said Alvarado, with his elderly parents ill and thousands of miles away, hoped the police could help him return to them. Police detained Alvarado on Monday after a resident reported a non-English-speaking Hispanic male was knocking on doors at Waterside Apartments, 4070 Green Isle Way, north of McCarty and east of Barnard in Saginaw Township. Gomez said Alvarado, who lived in Saginaw Township, was trying to find someone who could help him call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement so that he would be deported. “I didn’t want money, I want someone to help me get to Honduras,” Gomez said Alvarado told him in Spanish. When police asked Alvarado for identification, he showed them an expired card issued in Honduras in 1997, said Saginaw Township Police Lt. Gary P. Grauf. “He was hoping the Saginaw Township police would have him deported,” said Gomez, who served as Alvarado’s translator. “He hasn’t been able to find work in a long time.” Alvarado was lodged in the Saginaw County Jail on immigration violation charges until Tuesday, Gomez said. That’s when U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials from Detroit picked him up, Grauf said. “We’re not a travel agency,” said Khaalid Walls, a customs spokesman. “He’ll begin removal proceedings, and if a judge decides he is here illegally, we’ll enforce his removal.” Walls said Alvarado could be jailed for months awaiting a determination. “He’s going to sit in their jail for weeks,” said Gomez, basing his estimate on previous dealings with the agency. “There’s no guarantee he’ll get back to Honduras anytime soon.” Gomez said the agency generally waits until it has detained enough illegal immigrants to deport at the same time to increase cost efficiency. Based on past experience, Gomez said the agency usually doesn’t pick up illegal immigrants unless they’ve done something wrong or broken laws unrelated to immigration. Alvarado made his way north, crossed the southern U.S. border and headed for the Great Plains states, Gomez said. “He was originally living in Colorado, working as a laborer, just taking what jobs he could find,” Gomez said. “He met a woman named Maria, who is originally from Mexico, and she convinced him to come to Saginaw, and he’s been here for two years.” Gomez didn’t know the status of Alvarado’s relationship with the woman. “There was nothing to keep him here, because he couldn’t find a job or make any money to send home to his family,” Gomez said. “He was just hoping they would let him take his things with him when he’s deported.” There were 11.6 million estimated illegal immigrants in the U.S. as of February 2008, the most recent data available through the U.S. Department of Immigration Statistics. Michigan had about 70,000 illegal immigrants at last count a decade ago http://www.mlive.com/news/saginaw/index.ssf/2010/02/honduran_man_knocks_on_doors_i.html For a matter of information why didn't he not report his wishes to the local police ?

Resolved Question: I'm thinking about moving to Australia, I've heard there's a sweet deal to go there?

I'm 19 and really have no ties in the US anymore. My mom lives across the country and my dad is about to move across the country as well. I live in the appalling state of Michigan where there are no jobs and everyone is miserable. I'm definitely moving. My boss told me that supposedly Australia has a ton of jobs and not enough workers to fill them, and that supposedly they are paying people from outside the country to come in, become citizens, and get jobs. Supposedly there is a program in which you come in get your citizenship, and they supply you with a job and lodging for about 6 months until you can find your own place. Is this true, and if so, how do I do this program? Thanks for all your help guys!!! Thanks guys, I know it sounded way too good with this recession and all, but I just thought I'd do a little research on it anyways :)
