Resolved Question: San Diego to Kansas City, Mo. Breaking it up into (hopefully) 3 days?
Hello! Moving from San Diego to Kansas City, Mo. and will be driving with one other person. I was thinking the first night staying in Flagstaff, AZ but I can't seem to figure out a good (preferably bigger/well known) city to stay in the second night, in order to achieve the drive in three days? 3 days of equal driving each day would be ideal. Any suggestions? I was thinkint Tucumcari, NM looks like a good midpoint but it seems shy on lodging? Thanks!

Resolved Question: Horse friendly Lodging near I 70 W in Kansas?
Next summer a friend and i are going to be hauling a horse to Colorado and we're planning on spending the night somewhere in Kansas. We are both fine with camping but I'm not really interested in finding a horse barn to rent a stall at for one night/leaving my horse at a strange barn in a strange state and going off to a hotel/motel. Dose any one have any suggestions on where i can look to find a place. it seems like a long way off now, but trying to get things squared away so i know who to call when the trip comes. Thanks in advance

Resolved Question: Can I use bamboo poles for standard jumping poles? Jumping? Its Green Kansas Bamboo its about....?
2 in. in diameter and about 7ft tall. Its pretty tough, although when I cut it with the tree trimmers it breaks up in segments, they dont come off it just makes lines in the bamboo. I dont do very high hardcore jumping, just around the arena is all. Right now im using landscaping poles and Thin PVC pipe, I've heard that it can shatter and get lodged in the hoof, Im not really up to risking that O_O. The landscaping poles could bruise the hoof wall if she came up short a stride and ticked it.

Resolved Question: Cheap Sweet 16 Ideas?
My friend's sweet 16 is coming up, and she was planning on having a really big scavenger hunt with everybody and then meeting up at a Great Wolf Lodge to continue on the party (we'd have a room there and such) The party would take place at the end of December and we just found out that her parents can't afford it. What are some pretty cheap but still fun ideas for her birthday? We live about 15 minutes away from downtown Kansas City and some of us can drive.
Thanks :]
