Resolved Question: Will 2 weeks be long enough for my road trip?
I'm planning a road trip across the US in June, and I need to know if 2 weeks is long enough for all of our destinations.
I'll list our destinations in order...
Leaving from: Connecticut
1. Baltimore, Maryland
2. New Orleans, Louisiana
3. Arizona (Grand Canyon)
4. Las Vegas, Nevada
End: Huntington Beach, California
and then of course, drive back.
We mapped it out and it's approximately 3,500 miles there and the same coming back. There will be 4 of us, and 3 of us will be driving, and we don't plan to stay very long in any one place. Probably no more than one day at each destination, and bring camping supplies to avoid lodging costs. Can we get it done in 2 - 2 1/2 weeks? If not, how long would you recommend?
Thanks!
p.s. If you have any kind of input, I would be glad to take suggestions!

Resolved Question: a couple of questions about charter jets?
does travel in a charter take longer than in a traditional jet?
does the jet stay put when you are at your destination? and if so, do you pay for the lodging/time to the pilot?
does the pilot have a co pilot?
are animals allowed on board?
what would be the best suggested charter company to go through?
we will be wanting to take two trips. One from arizona to the bahamas and one from arizona to ireland.our family has had a bad experience with flying on the reg. jet so we prefer to go private (someone died on the flight and two of my family members had panic attacks over it, my other cousin has social anxiety disorder so when she is around a whole bunch of people she just gets nervous) so it would just be more comfortable for all and much more pleasant to take our pvt jet.
Also, do you tip your pilots? and if so, how much?

Resolved Question: Does anyone know of any volunteer opportunities in Tucson/Southern Arizona that provide lodging?
That is, board and food in exchange for work. I'm not interested in WWOOFing.

Resolved Question: What is the cheapest way to get from Phoenix, Arizona to Boston?
I am a college student on a very tight budget. I figured that if I leave Phoenix on the 26th on Greyhound, it will cost me about $330 round trip with a student discount card, which I will have to buy for $20 so that's $350 total. Amtrak will cost about $700 (from the station in Maricopa, Arizona) round trip.
I am really short on cash and will have to stay at a hotel or something in Boston (around Harvard ideally), so I want to find the cheapest way to get there; if anyone has any good ideas for cheap lodging that'd be welcome too.
So, besides hitchhiking, what would be the cheapest way?

Resolved Question: Help with baseball (spring training) in PHX, ARIZONA please.?
Okay, some questions & background info. I'll be driving in from Las Vegas & thusly will have a car. Will be picking up a friend from the airport (there in phx). Most likely stay 3 nights (maybe just 2) depending on $ situation.
I've been to PHX a few times, but this was a decade ago. Budget isnt huge. Where to stay? Is downtown dificult to navigate, park, etc. The biggest cost of them all will be lodging. I'm used to places like days inn, holiday inn express, fairfield, clarion. Needs to be safe, clean. Doesnt need to be fancy. Suggestions?
Also, what about booking lodging and tickets? Do it now? Cant remember when tickets become available (buying direct)? But, some ticket joints like stubhub already have offerings available i guess. Is it true that games sell out often?
I want to see Seattle for sure (for suzuki). I've actually been to the stadium in Peoria. Is that still where SEA plays?
Restaurant suggestions? We both like mexican food.
For the most part our $ is going to be dedicated to:
tix, lodging, food & that's about it.
Thank you.
